[Darts]Last Thursday's meeting

Thanks to all who attended last Thursdays meeting. I think we got a lot 
accomplished and also got the ball rolling on a few other things. As a recap 
and to fill in anyone who wasn't there, we decided on the following:
We agreed to start playing on October 5, a Thursday night, and every 
Thursday after that. Sign up starts at 7:00PM with game play starting at 
7:30 sharp.
Dues for playing darts this year will be $3.00 across the board. $1.00 of 
each week's dues will go into a Kitty for a party at the end of the season.
The majority thought trophies, weekly prizes and raffles weren't a such a 
hot deal so that was tabled for now.
Dave O'Brien volunteered to sand and spackle the wall where the dart boards 
are mounted. (The group removed the dart boards after a few games that 
night). We need to get a quart or so of the matching paint to refinish the 
wall. After that we can look into some sort of backboard so this doesn't 
become a problem again.
Tom Stundza was going to ask his wife Keleigh if she could design some 
flyers for posting around the club promoting darts as a fun thing to do.
I volunteered to purchase the parts, on behalf of the dart league, to fix up 
the house darts.
Food was tossed around a bit...I mean the subject of food was tossed around. 
Most thought that we should all agree to try and bring something to the 
games, light snacks etc. and maybe purchase food less often. We'll see how 
that works out.
