Being a rainy Saturday I thought I would compile some statistics on this =
past dart season. We started playing on Oct 6 2005 and played through =
May 11, 2006. We played 32 consecutive weeks on Thursday mostly with a =
couple of Mondays thrown in. We had a total of 50 different players take =
part in the games. We averaged 12 players per game. The smallest games =
had 8 players the largest had 16 players. There were 13 shutouts where =
the winning team went undefeated. 10 games had a winning score of 3-1, =
wins vs loss, 6 were 4-1, 2 were 6-1, 1 was 5-1. There were a total of =
323 games played on 3 dart boards. The average match was 10 games long.

We had 20 different winners.=20
John Nalen was on the winning team the most with 12 wins followed by:=20
Mike Keough @ 8 wins,=20
Steve Carr @ 7 wins,=20
Harvey Leibovitz and Dave Winkler with 6 wins each,=20
George Biron @ 5 wins,=20
Paul Leary, Dave O'Brien, Rob Veno, James Biron @ 2 wins each,=20
Mary Lou Clifford, Steve Winkler Jr, Chris Bail, Ernie Sordillo, Chris =
Carr, Steve Buckley, Steve Marchinski, Dave Kennedy, John Meskell, Mike =
Corcoran each had 1 win.

Harvey Leibovitz won 2 matches playing solo with out a partner.
Of the 13 shutouts John Nalen was on 6 of the winning teams.=20
Steve Carr, Dave Winkler, George Biron had 3 shutouts each.=20
Paul Leary, Harvey Leibovitz, Rob Veno had 2 shutout wins.=20
Dave O'Brien, Mike Keough, Dave Kennedy, Steve Buckkey, Ernie Sordillo =
had 1 shutout each.

And the hardest statistic to figure out, the over all record for all =
players. Let me tell you: I did a lot of accounting to come up with this =
stat. I reviewed every game, all 323 of them, to come up with this list. =
I will only report the players with a better than 500% average. I didn't =
do "best percentage" just the Win/Loss stat. If you want to know how you =
did, the records will be in the box at the club. The dart thrower with =
the most wins was:
John Nalen 74-40, Dave Winkler 65-49, Mike Keough 62-49, Steve Carr =
50-40, Harvey Leibovitz 42-36, George Biron 34-16, Rob Veno 37-30, Ernie =
Sordillo 21-20,=20

The player with the best average of win vs loss was George Biron at: =
34-16.

Other note able players: John Meskell 8-3, Steve Winkler Jr. 8-3, Jeff =
Meskell 6-4, Tim Donovan 6-6, Kay Herbert 4-2, Oona Aldrich 4-2, Chris =
Carr 10-11.

I'm not sure if this makes sense but John Nalen and Dave Winkler both =
played in 114 of the total 323 games.
Mike Keough played 111 games, Steve Carr 90, Harvey Leibovitz 78, Rob =
Veno 67, George Biron 50, Ernie Sordillo 41 games.=20

That's it, I'm done. I think I'll go watch TV or something. I sure had a =
great time playing darts this year. I will see you all down the club =
often this summer.
